The uPAC-TOY1 interface is a multi input media device compatible with Toyota/Lexus AVC-LAN radios with a SAT or AM/SAT button. The 2 inputs will support any of the following combinations: iPod/Auxiliary, iPod/HD Radio (HD Radio sold separately), iPod/Sirius (Sirius tuner told seperately),Auxiliary/Sirius (Sirius tuner sold seperately),Auxiliary/HD Radio (HD Radio sold separately) or HD Radio/Sirius (Sirius tuner sold seperately. The iPod input can be used with full control from the radio or full control from the iPod. The uPAC-TOY1 works with both 6-disc CD changer radios and navigation radios. If a factory SAT tuner or DVD video system is present, it will continue to operate as well. The optional HD Radio tuner is part number uPAC-HDRT.

Toyota/Lexus/Scion compatibility notes: • Radio must be equipped with a button labeled "AM/SAT” on the face of the radio to be compatible. • In Lexus vehicles equipped with factory satellite, the satellite receiver will have to be disconnected at the satellite tuner location in order for the uPAC-TOY1 to work correctly. • Radios with a diversity antenna will need to make a small modification to the OEM radios main power harness in order for the HD tuner to work correctly. Please refer to included tech brief inside the uPAC-TOY1 packaging. Diversity antenna systems are identifiable by having two antenna connections to the OEM radio. • Not compatible in Scion vehicles with the OEM option Pioneer radios with OEL display. • Not compatible in 2009 Toyota vehicles that have an XM logo printed on the face of the radio. These radios have an internal satellite tuner and are not compatible. All other radios that have an AM-SAT button but do not have an XM logo on the face are compatible. |
